WB Picks Up Davis Improv Series
/>The Jeff Davis half-hour improv show, originally developed as a comedy pilot for NBC, has been given a put pilot commitment from the WB Network, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Warner Bros. Television show stars Davis (ABC?s ?Whose Line is It Anyway?) as a dull accountant who soaks up the wilder side of life when he begins working for a rock star. The show?s emphasis on improv will remain at its new network, however, the premise of the show may change. Also, it is uncertain whether rocker Joe Walsh, who co-starred in the NBC pilot, will continue his role. The WB is targeting the project for fall 2002.
